I picked up my new shoes at the post office on my way to Target, and I had to wear them in the store.

Shoes, Balmain knockoffs from Taiwan (purchased secondhand $40)

These are definitely knockoffs rather than "inspired by" shoes, but the major difference besides materials is the 2.5" heel (the Balmain pair has a 4"+ heel).
For real as seen on everyone! I'm a bit late to the game but the shoes are still hot in warmer climates. Check out the more accessible alternatives here
